  7. darn vista Hi RandyL, Thanx for the quick response. Umm... I have avast! antivirus, and as far as I know I have all the updates. When I turned it on today it worked just fine. Im running utorrent, adobe, itunes, quicktime and some other programs installed after the problem happened. Thanx for you time and help.
  8. I have a Dell Vostro laptop 1500 with Windows Vista Business, Intel Core2 Duo, and 2 gigs of ram. Approximately a month ago whenever I start up the computer after about three minutes it freezes and displays an error message. The message reads: Login process has failed to create the proper dialog, and the box says: Failure security options. When I press the power and turn it back on with start windows normally the computer operates for hours without crashing, it only happens when the computer is turned off for a while and then turned back on. I have already tried to reformat the hard drive but that only temporarily fixed the problem. Some people have said it’s the memory, but I want some ideas on what the problem is before I go that route. I don’t know computers that well so I thank you very much for the help. Any suggestions will be very helpful!:(
  9. I am trying to get some help to fix and understand my laptop.:D
