Hello guys, last week I'm coming across this problem, when I am using my computer - when i'm playing games or sometimes just watching a video, my pc freezes and some weird buzzing sounds starts coming out from my headset, and it starts like buzzing non-stop, it does not stop till I turn it off, but lately what started to happen is it just turns offs without any freeze or sound, and other times I get the blue screen and it turns off afterwards, i tried cleaning the dust off my pc to no avail. I don't know what to do, help Should I replace my HDD? PS during one of these crashes, upon restarting HDD tried to fix itself, but yet still it did not prove to be succesful

Hello guys, So I've bought an wireless xbox360 controller, but once i unpacked it, my room-mate threw away the packaging, so I don't have any more info about it. Well anyway getting to the problem now, so basically it came with Net GEAR WPS transmitor(or however it's called :P) and cd for it, so I've installed and I got "NETGEAR WNA3100M Genie" out of it, then In downloaded and installed Microsoft controller software, and then connected controller to the pc. But it controller doesn't work for me... on the Devices and Printers it shows up as a "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller via Play & Charge Kit". Also the controller is showing me a green light from the controller, not from xbox button but from the usb-xbox controller cable.. but yet still it doesn't work... So what should I do to make it work guys :\ i'm kind of desperate now :L

well thx for advice, but after some thinking i decided to buy new pc all together, since my current pc is quite old thx for ur time again

Are you sure the CPU fan is spinning? yeap, I open my PC case from both sides , so it gets more air ,and has lower chance of overheating. Do you have speed step enabled? I'm not sure when i go to power plans, i see Balanced power plan activated, should i change it to gaming mode power plan About task manager i'm constantly checking it over, my pc is running so slow now, that if i am able to play i turn off even explorer.exe You may have abottle kneck with that GPU and CPU.... i've no idea about this i will run 'chkdsk' after i finish another virus scan, in my pc, i will post the results here

My internet is working fine http://www.speedtest.net/result/1432853988.png And yes i've done a disk cleanup Temps of my pc are low, and yes i've checked it Speedfan results : GPU 25C, System 29C, CPU 38C, AUX 42C, HD0 31C, Temp1 37C, Core0 68C, Core1 67C Virus, well i've ran few tests and i've found no viruses, and i've recently re installed my windows so i really doubt it could be a virus. I've ran MSCONFIG, and before i made this post, i left only the important ones to load at start-up, and trough there i made sure that both of my cores are used. I ran SFC space /SCANNOW as well it found 1 mistake and fixed it Yes im aware of fact that old hardware runs slower, as older it gets, but i mean i would understand 100/200mhz slow down but not 1.5k, i don't think it has anything to do with the age of the hardware for this high drop.

Yeah i'm aware that cpu speed is varying, but it feels much slower than 2.0ghz, i mean i even have to run close almost all of my start-up programs and i cannot open too many web-browser pages, in order no to lag, which never occurred before.

Hello, well I've some kind of weird problem, since last month something happened to my PC, that it started to run really slowly(like 10x times slower then it use to) and all the games that use to give me high fps, now i barely get out low fps, if i can run the game at all. I even tried to change my windows, i changed from xp to w7 but it did not resolve the problem, i tried cleaning the dust out of the pc, and even downgrading and updating the system again but it gave no result whatsoever. Then i thought maybe i'm running only 1 out of my 2cores, but i checked it seemed not to be the issue(if i checked right ofc), and then i tried the website : http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ <- to see is my pc is capable if running few games, and after running few tests, my cpu speed was measured at 500mhz. And then i tought cannot be, i downloaded some program to check it again, and i runned the test and i got 1964.5mhz, well it varied from time to time, but it stayed at around 2k(yet still i think its wrong as i've dual core) please help me get my real/old speed back :( PS my CPU is Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 @2.00GHz

Yeah, I reinstalled GPU and all other drivers twice even and it did not help. i've fatal1ty F190HD ( somewhere its written as FI90HD), btw would this card support geforce 220/240 graphic cards?

=/ i've no access to any other monitor/screen, but i tried to connect my current screen/monitor to other pc/laptop and it worked just fine, so it is not the monitor/screen problem i think

hi all, so i've some kind of serious problem,but i'm not sure what exactly it is, so anyway, i've re-installed my windows like 3weeks a go, and after that when i played games sometimes my screen started to show blurry screen, at the start i tought it was due to overplaying, but it happen even after lets say 1hour of gaming... Anyway 2/3days a go, i installed cod4, and tried it for first time, after 5mins of gameplay my whole screen went, green and and some strange lines apperead all over the screen(kinda like in matrix lol) it stayed like this for 30mins so i had to restart pc, after that the the screen vision remained in the same way... i even tried to re-install windows but it did not help .. =/ Also i tired my monitor on other PC and it worked fine.. In my opinion i think its the graphics card..because i've graphics card something like this : http://www.legitreviews.com/images/reviews/590/geforce8800gt_gts.jpg and i can't open it to clean it =| Anyway what do you think my pc's problem is :S? ps sorry for my bad English knowledge

So i have windows 7 and i can't change my background to any picture, all i can use is "Solid Colors" and when i try to use normal picture it just won't change , i tried to the walp. using some programs ( ACDSee) but it didn't work, so can any1 help me plz :S ps sorry for wrong place for topic -.-

I tried to turn it on like you said with only motherboard, power supply and video card only, but still doesn't load and don't even make peep. My motherboard : Abit Fatal1ty F-I90HD. I think that i've recovery disks, but btw i've already re-installed my windows

so, now i'm thinking to buy some new part of pc in this case motherboard, because i need to fix my pc asap, so should i risk to buy new motherboard?

Yeah, monitor doesn't come on. Yeah i did try it, it stayed on for a bit longer, but still it didn't start. Nop i don't have any other video card or motherboard. And personally i don't think it's about graphic card

Power light, what do you mean ? IF about monitor - no it doesn't work. If about case - it's just goes on for 30s-45s and then turns down, without any sound(usualy i hear some pip) Nop fans work good. Everything looks ok, but it doesn't work, no burning smell
