    my mobile phone (galaxy ace) will not play my wma files i have tried to get a free app that will play them but cannot find one, it seems the only answer is to convert them first on my pc to mp3 can anyone recomend a free converter please ?

    hello... In the properties list these files are down as "Shockwave Flash Object (.swf)". These clips are rendered off his playstation which is linked to call of duty.com where once saved they become .swf files which are not recognised by YouTube. I have downloaded 3 converters in which all 3 have failed to recognise these files. Are there any other easier methods of recording? Or any ways around this? Any ideas are greatfully recieved.

    hello guys.. my son has some of his playstaion C.O.D. files that he wants to put on you-tube.. i believe these are shockwave flash files which appears are not acceptable. Can they be converted to a different format? we are thankfull for any advice on this topic. john

    Ok .. I have tried do download drivers to a memory stick but i am not sure which drivers i should be looking for. and then i am at a loss as to what to do with them once i have them on the stick ??

    Hello Guys.. I have reloaded windows XP on my wifes Dell latitude 600 lap top oly to find I cannot connect to the internet now. Before it would connect no problem via our buffalo wireless router. I have tried to conect with via a cable to the router with o joy. Can you help me out please ?

    sorry guys i dont have a case fan.. just the one on the processor. When i start it up, the fan goes very quickly then slows down to a steady speed, and i get that message, same every time

    hello.. can anyone advise me on a error message i get when I start up my PC, it goes... ERROR : Sytem fan has failed Service PC to prevent damage to system Press <F2> to continue I have had this message scince rebuilding my PC not long ago. After pressing F2 it carries on loading up fine, and runs ok. Have i done something wronge?

    hello guys can any one give some advice on free anti-virus software for a laptop ? dose this differ from normal software for PC's I am currently using AVG for my PC but is this ok for a laptop??:confused:

    I have only one operating system on the hard drive.. As to partitioning I believe that I did partition the hard drive when I loaded XP.... Is there a way of checking this?

    Don't know if it really is much of a problem but I have a 80GB hard drive, I have changed the file system from FAT32 to NTFS. when I look at its properties it still says the following.... FILE SYSEM NTFS USED SPACE 6.86 GB FREE SPACE 24.6 GB CAPACITY 31.4 GB Should the capacity be 80 GB ???

    Hello guys.. Since I have gone over to my newly built PC I find that the @ key and the " key have swapped over. When I change the key board back to my old PC they are back to normal.. Can you help ???

    Hello guys .. Finally got my pc running on xp.. I do have one or two teathing problems with my new build. One is I believe the rotation of my fan on the heat sinc is going round in the wronge direction , I'm not sure if it is meant to suck air away, or blow air onto the heat sinc ? As it stands it appears to be blowing air onto it ??? Can anyone shed any light on this ??

    ok.. so how do I stand when I upgrade say... processor, hard drive or motherboard. Is my copy of windows.. for want of a better word "attatched" to any specific part of my PC, or lets say over a period of time uprage all aspects of my PC, so in efffect it would be total different to when I started. Would I be able to keep re-installing the same disc... do I make sense ??? :confused:

    thanks. Can you tell me if I can use this disc on more than one pc in the house ? Or is it one disc to one pc ? The reason being this is my first build... a try out if you will .. I do have intensions on building some thing in the line of a gamer pc, Would I need another XP for this ?

    ok.. lets see if I got this right.. Processor 2400 mhz AMD Memory 3 x 500 MB and an 80 GB IDE hard drive basic CD rom ASUS A7S333 motherboard:o XP purchased is a SP2

    I have just purchased an new OEM version of Windows XP home edition, and am awaiting arrival. However I still have questions... Is XP self booting or do i need a boot disc like ME ? Can i use it on more than one pc in the house or is just for one pc ? :confused:

    Yes.. I think this is my answer. I have been trying to load ME with a boot up floppy disc, It goes so far then keeps going back to the promp. so its maybe the floppy corrupt or the disc perhaps, either way I am going to invest in XP tomorrow and i will see hoe that goes...

    large disc support Yes i did see this screen, and pressed yes to this prompt. Then it told me to reboot , now when it clears the first part of the boot up screen it asks "to reboot press any key" when I press a key it goes back to the begining and stars again. However i am making progress, one of you guys pointed me to a step by step guide. In this it tells you to use a boot up floppy disc. Doing this i have got further into the boot up screen. I will keep you informed of my progress.. many thanks

    Firstly this is a build for my son who is driving me mad for a better pc. Money being very tight at the moment i have built this up from parts which have been given to me and which i have purchased from E-bay. I am using ME because I have an ME disc this should keep the cost down further. all said this build has got to be better than the pc icurrently have which i bought in 2000 (8 years ago)

    I am trying to build my first pc, Got all the bits together but am having trouble loading ME on it.. bios reconises hard drive as master.. cd drive as slave , got as far as it asking if i wanted to operate a large hardrive control or something .then it told me to re-boot. then it went back to the start screen and keeps asking to re-boot press any key then back to the start screen.:confused::confused::confused:
