  1. I'm running a Kentsfield, Q6600 G0 (quad core, 2.4GHz), rated FSB at 1066MHz - found in another thread "The rated FSB speed set in the BIOS is the quad-pumped speed, so it is 4x the base FSB speed" guess this is why a 1:1 gives such a low freq for ram...
  2. Ok got FSB: DRAM to 1:1 by settings freq to 533MHz in BIOS, now CPU-Z reads 266.6MHz...
  3. Thanks alot :) In BIOS I've changed frequency to 1066MHz and manually changed the timings to: CL 5 tRCD 5 tRP 5 tRAS 15 My DRAM Voltage is set to Auto and also greyed out (can't access it when hitting enter), I'm not sure how to get access to it.. CPU-Z now reads FSB: DRAM = 1:2, with DRAM Freq at 533.3MHz. But under SPD it still says Max Bandwidth is PC2-6400 (400MHz)? EPP #1, #2 both says voltage is at 2.2V JEDEC #1, #2 both says 1.8V Should I leave DRAM Voltage on auto? Thanks for the help..
  4. Howdy, I have a MSI P7N Diamond mobo with 4gb (4x 1Gb sticks) of Crucial Ballistix Tracer 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-8500 Memory. When running CPU-Z, it tells me: DRAM Frequency 400.0MHz FSB: DRAM 2:3 also in SPD tab says Max bandwidth as PC2-6400 (400MHz) Just wondering if this is incorrect/settings not optimum & how to correct it if so... If more info needed about system just ask and I'll post asap. Thanks in advance.
