I searched for the 'folder' and could not find it Also it says i am on XP - that is for my laptop As i said before, my cousin has just given me his pc which is on Vista I have to say that anytime i ask for advice on this forum i always get talked down to. God forbid i use the wrong word. Most of the people who reply to my posts are rude

    I'm not sure what you mean by 'Can't get into windows'??? After doing all the tasks from Mikes reply, internet explorer is now working but the error message still pops up whenever i start up the computer. I dont have the windows disk to do what Maynardvdm suggested.

    I don't have the windows disk for the pc. My cousin gave it to me because he's gone to Thailand. Any other ideas?

    Right i have literally just finished doing everything. Re-started my pc again and the error message is still there :confused::confused::confused:

    Hi, i have just deleted some programmes off my pc (toolbars, random un-used programmes) Then i restarted my pc and now when it has started up windows a box appears saying "error loadin dll32" i cant get online on internet explorer or firefox. (I'm on the laptop now) Anyone got an idea what i could have done??? Thanks

    All you have to do is type each one into the search, which i've done and it didn't find any of them. The spyware detection available on there is a scan only I'm beginning to think the only thing i could do is flatten the hard drive?

    Ok, so i tried the link Daloharkin sent me and none of the files were on my pc. Also, re-reading Tootech's comment i realise my pc is not wireless. :confused:

    With step 3 it didn't find the spyware protect 2009. Step 4 just wont run. I managed to download it but it wont let me run it, nothing happens when i double click it.

    Ok so i did everything you told me, some of which it would not allow me to do. I have also tried every anti-virus/scans ect i could find. Although the programme doesn't load up it is still on my pc as i am still not able to access and internet sites (I am currently on a different pc) I have also tried to restore the system to a date when the virus was not on my pc and this would not work either.     The problem is i cant get onto any websites ect to download any of this on that pc because it is just blocking everything.

    Hi there, On my pc a virus has attached itself called Spyware Protect 2009 at first i thought it was something from microsoft, then after problems i googled it to find it is some sort of virus. The problem is i cant uninstall it! There are lots of sites that have links to remove it but now it wont allow me to view any web pages. (I am currently on a different pc) Any ideas on what i can do?

    Well to be honest i'm not sure where the signal is coming from but i will speak to both my neighbours. I'm going to get a router tomorrow. Any idea's where i can get a decent one? Are they all the same? :confused:

    I turned on the wireless and got a connection to the internet, but it's not mine. It's someone elses internet i'm using. So i need to get a router for my internet at home don't i??? :confused:
