aa the power outage didnt cause it, it was doing this beforehand, i got it like 3 days ago. My video is still processing, but i found this video of a guy with a 9600, who experienced the exact same problem, his video is very clear, and its exactly what happens with mine, however i've only seen/noticed it when im playing games, I'll try a few desktop colours to see if i can spot it in out of game mode, heres the guys vid -

haha the more the merrier bud. Ive checked event log just a sec ago, the only things that happened was a DNS error wich has nothing to do with it, and theres a system crash, wich was due to a power outage randomly....damn gf and her toast making :P. The Nvidia Control Panel is pretty crap i must admit, i've changed a few options in there none to wich have seemed to help at-all, and this is why im so puzzled lol, as far as i can see the card is compatible with everything i have, I've moved speakers, xbox external hard-driver, printers, pretty much everything on my desc incase they wer somehow interfearing with it but no luck, i've also took my whole motherboard out, checking that it was all connected in the unit properly and no connections loose and no abillity to transmit energy/signals across parts that are not to recieve etc, so im absolutely lost lol. Video's still processing, bare with me. -

Hey guys, got the weirdest of problems and frankly im insanely confused lol. Problem : When im playing games, with this new graphics card wich i purchased from amazon AXLE nVidia GeForce 9800 GT 1024MB DDR2 Graphics Card: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo I get this weird sorta like waves on my screen, its not like the waves you recieve when you have a lack of power wich normally leads to a shutdown, as i have 1000 watts power gaming supply wich i just bought today to hopefully fix this error, Its so strange, its llike upwards/downwards almost ripple effect waves that appear when im ingames, multiple games just for those who ask. I did send it back and got a new one as i thought it was faulty, to wich also does the exact same! tried it on another pc and there was no problems. I've downloaded about 5-6 different drivers aswell incase it was a driver problem, and no progress, also updated motherboard with 3 odd different updates, everythings sparkly up to date, so im totally puzzled. My cam is on charge atm so once its charged i will try and record a video of the problem and post it here so hopefully u can see what im talking about. I've attached my DXdiag to this post so ya can have a look at it. Any help would be much appreciated, as im bloody lost lol. Motherboard : Asus P5n-D

Where do I find a WAP key?
GreyCell1988 replied to eniacap's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Hmm, there is a way to actually show the Key in windows XP on the computers that are alreay connecing to it, cant 100% mind on how its done, i know how to do it on Vista however, its basically going into the currently connected network bit and where it shows what security it is, u can put it to show the hexed charecters like Dalo said, trying to find out how to do it on windows xp but cant find anything on google, Dalo can u mind at all? -

Where do I find a WAP key?
GreyCell1988 replied to eniacap's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
IF ya check your routers manual, it should show you a config router adress to put into your browser, once in there it may ask you, your username and password, if you dont know the username and password, again consult the manual, Once in the routers config, you should be able to check the routers current security settings, and you should be able to get the code in there, if not then you can try changing the security type from WPA, to like WEP or whatnot, and it will allow you to either, set a code, or it will give you one. I believe the routers default config IP is - http://192.168.11.1 and the default username and PW is - User - root, pw - "blank" hope this helps in someway ;) -
Weird Music Problem
GreyCell1988 replied to GreyCell1988's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Nah I used a disc my m8 gave me that allows you to remove WMP without breaking Vista, then i reainstalled it threw Windows repair, seemed to do it perfectly, altho the problem persisted, so i uninstalled all my codec packs, it wasnt untill i uninstaled AC3 that it started working properly again. Turns out it was AC3Codec pack causing this, no idea why...but i dl'ed a new version and have installed htat, and it seems to be working fine...Thanks for all you help guys ur the best ;)! -
