  1. HI burtoncustomx need to know what you see in disk management when you connect the drive to your usb connection right click my computer and click manage then click disk management it should show up in there as healthy does it ? Regards PC Tech

  3. Hi atarimad To be honest if its not counting the memory properly you do have a faulty chip and windows will not load try removing the faulty memory stick and re-load again
  4. Hi okisok01 symantec have a tool called symnrt this is a free download and it will remove norton completely
  5. HI Dan try booting from a xp cd and run recovery console when at the prompt type chkdsk/r if you cant get to the console you will get an error message and it will be your partition on the hard drive that is corrupted

Hi Yawn_God 2 things you will need to do to determine whats wrong first check hard drive for errors go into my computer right click c: drive choose properties then tools check now and leave it to automatically fix errors check your hard drive space 3rd suggestion run disk defragmentation program hope this advice will help you Regards PC Tech

HI Bluebell this error may be refering to the keyboard language so go into regional and language settings make sure in there its says united kingdom then click languages then details and remove the united states keyboard so you only leave the british one and check you have english united kingdom set in the box at the top you will need to reboot for the changes to take effect Regards PC Tech

Hi rbeau your pc is branded and should come with recovery media you also may have a sata drive and will need to install the drivers for the hard drive to be recognised by xp even if you patition the drive and format it in dos xp will not recognise it without the drivers for the sata drive these normally will come on floppy when windows gives you a chance to install 3rd party drivers you need to press F6 and it will prompt for these
  9. HI crisnliv you may have a hardware problem disconnect monitor from the pc power on the screen if this goes amber as it should when not receiving a signal then monitor is fine and the graphic card in the pc is at fault if still green monitor is faulty

Hi annie need to go into safemode and run system restore and restore back to an earlier time to fix this to do this follow these instructions click start programs accessories system restore click a date that is in bold and choose restorecomputer to an earlier time let it shutdown the pc and reboot to continue the process it will tell you whether it was successful or not
  11. HI ylind you will need to purchase a pci card with usb2 ports on it and install the drivers to get usb2 if your'e board does not have this it slots in one of the white slots inside the pc
  12. Hi jaybee you need to check the devicemanager under usb for enhanced usb host controller if you do not have this you do not have a usb2 motherboard in the pc

Hi Nic1101 sounds like you need two things a monitor driver and a different graphics card driver that is compatible to either the game you are trying to play or windows 2000 you need to browse the games cd for a troubleshooting folder and it will list if there any incompatibilities with the radeon chipset for your card also i need to know the game name to help
  14. HI Christopher 1212 The model you have is not a dvdrw its a cdrw/dvd can write to cdrs but can only read dvds
