I keep getting problems with an active desktop error. I do not have this activated so do not understand why I am getting this. I have XP SP 2 and IE7 It doesn't seem to stop anything working and by selecting a new desktop picture from the list restores it back to normal When I click on the button to debug I get the following message Any ideas what may be causing this line 65 character1 Object doesn't support this function http://file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Luckett/Application%20Data/Microsoft/Internet%20Explorer/Desktop.htt

I have just bought a HD camcorder. I will be copying the footage to the PC and will then burn to DVD. My current DVD burner is about 3 years old. The footage will be HD and I will want to transfer the output from the PC to a Blue ray disk so that I can watch this on a HD TV through a blue ray player. Question is do I need a special DVD writer (hardware/software)to be able to write to a blue ray disk. I have read about red and blue lasers for DBD and Blue ray so I suspect that I need a new writer
