  1. its an on board graphics card. and no there is no splitters in the hdd lead and the monitor has power and is switch on. and all other leads and cables seem secure enough. i'm starting to believe it may need new mobo and or hdd. it's doing my head in. ps. i'll just have to pinch our lasses laptop. lol:D pps. i hate computers.
  2. just tried to boot pc up. all i'm getting is the lights coming on and the harddrive light just stays on it doesnt flicker at all. and still nothing from the monitor.
  3. and how am i going to be able to work through this if i can't see anything. it's doing my head in:mad:
  4. yes i,ve had the side off before and cleaned it all out. all connections on mother board are fine. as i said it was working fine up until i shut down. then upon booting back up later i then got message on monitor no input connection detected. the computer itself seems to work as all the lights on system light up, but the dvd and cd lights seem to be on alot more than prevoius. only tried to clear cmos after trouble started to see if that would have any affect. but no it didn't do anything.
  5. jasonmac75 i have a problem with my computer. it work ok this afternoon, but shut it down, then when tried to turn it back on the lights on the system come on but the monitor just say no input detected, but off cause it is. checked twice. also the two cd drives lights just keep coming on. i've tried to clear the cmos (foxconn motherboard) to see if that would help but no. and cant see anything as nothing on monitor. p.s have tried different monitor. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks:eek:
