Yes - I've just tried it again. It shows Unidentified network , Local Access only. Symanatec appear to have messed up Norton 360 during their diagnostics as it won't load on startup or via an icon. Windows Firewall is currently off but I don't know if the Norton one is running and messing things up

I have a broadband wireless network which runs perfectly in normal mode but refuses to connect to the Internet in safe mode with networking. The signal from the router is being picked up OK but I see a message stating "unrecognised network" This is causing a problem as I have a technical issue with Norton 360 & the consultant needs to access my PC in safe mode to carry out diagnostic checks. I have no idea why this is occurring - can anyone suggest where the fault might lie?
