  1. hello, Starbuck! ... thank you for your response... I made the full scan with Avast antivirus without any changes, but cannot open the recommended link support.microsoft.com/kb/2530126...
  2. hello, Starbuck!... it's Window's firewall
  3. It's indicated that the Fairwall is setting incorrectly, but when I tried to resetting, message appears: setting Fairwall is unavailable, error 0x80070424. I have HP Pavillion dv6 laptop with Window 7 Thank you
  4. right now I check my Wireless Belkin adapter on another desktop PC, located near router, and it works perfect. So, the problem in computor... i think that for some reason disappeared the TCP/IP protocol and need to be recovered or change to new one.... could you explain how I can do that?...
  5. I have a bit different configuration of the lightes on the router, but 'wireless', 'Internet' and 'modem' are on... wireless light blinked a bit... when I put in the address bar 192.68.2.1 and hit 'Enter', got the same messages: 'The webpage is unavailable because you are offline' and 'Internet Exlorer cannot display the webpage....
  6. how I can check if Mac Address Filtering has been enabled in the router??
  7. the Wireless adaptor works ok.... now after attempting to connecto to Internet, I got the status 'Acquiring Network address', which I've got from very beginning....
  8. Most of your recomendation I tried already.... after I typed 'www.google.com', the message said the command is not recognized... the Belkin аdapter works perfectly for two years, and now shows as normally worked...
  9. thank you, but the 'Work off line' unchecked, but there is not any red cross inside circular icon. I wander why there is not connection, when the Internet Connection icon (the blue icon) is on, and status shows as 'Connected' with very good signal... :-(
  10. no, unfortunately it doesn't help.... now after I unchecked 'Use Windows for configuration' in Properties, the monitor icon became without the red cross and it shows Status as 'connected', but browsers still not connected to Internet...
  11. I tried both with disabled and enabled when made default services configuration... The monitor icon with red cross is on the bottom bar . After my manipulation was moment when the monitor icon shows without red cross, and when I click it, the window shows status as 'Connected' with good signal, but when I tried to open any browser, it still doesn't work - no Internet connection. I reset the Routor with switch off and then turn on: the all light became as before and my netbook works as usually. Then I reset the router with staple on backside and then tried to connect my computer, but without sucsess. The netbook connects to Internet on the both floor without problem. Unfortunately I can't bring the routor on the second floor, where located my desktop.
  12. That is what I got, following to your Instruction: Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] © Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp. 13. I reinstalled and reboot the computer. Afterward appears message: Window automatically reinstalled the device. Please restart the PC that the installation take in effect. I reboot the comp one more and then try to connect Internet. The same 'Acquiring Network address' or 'Not connected'. Actually I already tried this option (uninstalling the Belkin Adapter). Moreover, I bought another adapter - mini-Belkin N and installed it. Absolutely nothing changed and I returned it to the store. So, I don't think that the reason is in fault adapter. Under Network Adapters it shows 2 things: Belkin G adapter and Broadcom Netxtreme57xx Gigabit Controller. Maybe uninstall the second one??...
  14. 1. The 'Obtain an IP Adress and DNS Server Address' both ticked. 2. The 'Advanced TCP/IP Setting' is absolutely the same as you showed in your post 42. 'Enable LMHosts Looking' and 'Default' are both ticked.
  15. when I said 'it works', I meaned that tools for Internet and Network connection appeared in menu and Control Panel.
