Hi, i hope ive posted this in the right place.. What it is.. i have an iPod Touch and it has wifi built in. But at home, i dont have wifi anymore, i have a mobile broadband usb dongle, on 3. Id like to beable to use my ipod's net at home, so ive been trying to think of a way i could connect it. I thought of... My computer dosnt have a wireless card, but if i could get one, and configure it to 'share' my usb dongle's net connection.. and connect my ipod to the card.. Would i beable to do this ? Would it work ? Thanks..

Just trying it now and it must connect because the home page name of Halifax appears in the tab, and at the bottom it says "Waiting for http://www.halifax.co.uk/home/..." but it dosnt load up.. :confused:

Hi.. They're plenty of websites i can visit with no problems.. but a few that i cant for some reason ?? Example.. I cant visit Halifax.co.uk to manage my online banking ??.. it simply wont load, where'as i never had problems with it before... Also, this is a shared computer, but i am the Comp Admin.. other users, using their own account cant visit Facebook.co.uk amongst a few others.. but i can on my account. Anyway, its annoying that i cant visit Halifax.co.uk to manage my account :mad:.. i have no idea whats stopping it ?? Ive been using InternetExplorer 8.. ive also tried Firefox and Opera but i still get the same thing. Any ideas ?? thanks..

Ive also downloaded an AnitSpyware (which i didnt have before), which was said to probably be the cause of this whole mess.

All done.. and alot better lol. Everythings been updated, ie I.Explorer, WMP, AntiVirus ect... clean and new, with no mess.:D My recovery CD has been put away safely.. and ive set a system restore point. Although i dont think i know how to use it incase i need it??.. Lesson Learnt.. Back-up important files onto cd/external hard drive/ect.. !! Thanks though guys.. really appreciate it. :cool: ...

Thnaks... ive near enough finished creating a recovery dvd now. Are these the steps i should follow to use it ??.. HERE Although, quickly looking through, looks simular to what i did with the Compaq recovery.. just without the dvd.

Lol..blimey. Ok, i dont have the manuels anymore so im going on what i can see on the stickers on the side and back of the tower block. Compaq Presario SR1000 SR1420UK, maybe ??
