I have recently had cause to format my hard drive:(
With my back up disk all seemed to go well but on examination of my 'C' & 'D' partitions I found that the 'C' was virtually full. I have been informed by my PC that I should free up space on that partition. I now find that many of the files etc in 'C' are also reproduced in the 'D' partition.
My problem is which files/programs can I safely delete in order to free up space on 'C', or, do I simply delete the corresponding items in 'D'? I cannot understand as to why these items need to be reproduced in two partitions.
I did make a start on the 'C' with the idea that if anthything went wrong then I could retrieve them from the waste bin but that soon became full. Help!
