my system is hp processor intel quad 2.4 ram 3gb 32 bit op system sorry i should of stated that at first it also has a warm swapable hard drive 200 gb

it has a built in ghost drive and iam very glad i asked you guys first vista isnt great but i wouldnt like to lose it.......can i set up xp on a warm swapable drive and boot it from my pc at start up then ???? :rolleyes:

hey all question, can i put a xp op system on my vista op run computer so i can play all my old original games as some dont work on vista and if i can then how ? :(

my partner likes all the trash games that let you play for an hour called zylom games and others. how can i set up my vista pc so she cant download this crap and give me adware etc etc without her knowing i have blocked it please help :confused:

ahh opened the tower again and had another look swapped the usb port on mother board to a different one and the power supply and hey presto we are working thanks for replying guys and thanks for adding me to this great site keep up the good work

its not the pocket one but the bigger 300gigabite one it has 2 ports on the back for usb and a power one, i have separate leads for it and when i use these its instantly recognised and works. But while cleaning the heatsink the other week i noticed it had these same adapters built in the drive bay they just dont seem to work i have inserted this warm swapable before its switched on and whilst it is switched on and i get nothing noticed this he has same problem but with xp not vista and he has power when he connects it into the bay Edit: Forum link removed.

i currenetly hava a hp media pc with a built in media bay and with this warm swapable drive comes a power pack and usb conection so you can hook this up to other pc/laptops i noticed the bay on my pc has its own usb and power adapter in the drive bay put when i slot it in nothing happend ...a light flickers on warm swapable as you insert it but then nothing and computer says there is nothing there please help me thanks :confused: sorry forgot to tell you about my system it a windows vista home premium 32 bit
