  1. Happy Birthday =D It's a bit late, but I didn't discover the forums below Hardware until today :)
  2. Has anyone got the link?
  3. I feel kind of alone in here... For me, I get home from Sixth Form and put on something like... YouTube - Bodies - Drowning Pool YouTube - Slipknot - Sulfur (Full Song) YouTube - Rain Wizard- Black Stone Cherry But also, Linkin Park are good. And they're great Live ;)
  4. If I'm building a PC in 4 years time, AMD it is then :P But for now, Intel will do me fine.

  6. This is probably a really common question, but I've been told by a couple of guys that I'm better off with AMD, due to my graphics card being ATi, which is a part of AMD. Also, apparently, you get "more bang for your buck" Mega-confusion o.o
  7. I do plan on getting a 64-bit, because everyone I've spoken to has said that for gaming, 64-bit is better... As for posting a picture, I will do that as soon as I've stopped drooling over it =P It'll be a big change from this pathetic thing I'm typing on now...
  8. After taking advice about the PSU, I've got this build: Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL5(5-5-5-18) Heat Spreader Lifetime Warranty PowerColor HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 OCZ Stealth XStream 600W PSU - SLI Ready ATX2.2 12cm LED Fan Samsung HD502IJ SpinPoint F1 500GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB - OEM Optiarc AD-7200S 20X DVD±RW/DL/RAM Internal SATA Bare Black Drive - OEM Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Socket 775 (3.0GHz) 1333FSB 6MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred Full Tower Case - No PSU Arctic Cooling AC-FRZ-7P Freezer 7 Pro Socket 775 Processor Cooler This is my first build. Will it all go together? Will there be any problems etc?
  9. I'm building a new PC, and am confused about what PSU I'll need. The components are: Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL5(5-5-5-18) Heat Spreader Lifetime Warranty PowerColor HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card Samsung HD502IJ SpinPoint F1 500GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache - OEM Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Socket 775 (3.0GHz) 1333FSB 6MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor LG W2242S 22" TFT Monitor 1680x1050 8000:1 300cd/m2 5ms VGA Black 3 Years Onsite Warranty ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard Arctic Cooling AC-FRZ-7P Freezer 7 Pro Socket 775 Processor Cooler I've also got an Antec 900 case, and a keyboard+mouse bundle. What PSU wattage will I need?
  10. Hey there people I found this site through google, and it looks promising :) I have little experience with anything, because I've been lucky enough to not have too many problems with the PC I've got. Hopefully I'm going to building my first PC that's actually mine as soon as I get a job. Hope I have fun here :)
