Advent USB I too purchased an advent usb hub from PC World and came up with the same message in the taskbar. As it worked I thought no more about it as I have quite an old pc- until my son came home with his brand new laptop and tried it with the same results. I took it back to PC World who tested it- yes you guessed it- with the SAME message appearing but I was fobbed off with '...unless you have the hi-speed usb installed it will only work at the lower speed' not being very up on computers I couldnt argue but when I told my son- who is a computer engineer- he said rubbish it should work at 2 speed not 1. So it looks like we have paid out for a 2 and been fobbed off with a 1.
