Thanks Wolfeymole
Thanks Wolfeymole,
Installed SP3 made no difference. AOL staff said to use IE, just installed AOL 9 VR for 3rd time and can now access www through AOL. Old habits die very hard as you get older.
With regard to the pixels I've only one monitor (apart from an old Amstrad monitor up in the loft) which shows the pixels perfectly initially, only when I scroll do they disappear. As I write this the text is perfect.
I just scrolled up and down and the whole screen (including every open page behind this one too) looks like it has gone through a very bad printer leaving lines of marks and barely readable print, yet the new text I write in this paragraph is perfectly legible.
Whilst I paused for thought, as I tend to do a lot as I age, the whole screen has become pristine clear again, so scrolled again and back to receive dirty print screen. Clicking to and from other pages on my screen actually clears up the problem in this email text box, but not for the rest of your page.
Would taking my graphics card out and snarling at it make all of my problems go away?
Thanks again Richard
