  1. Everything's been OK running MS outlook 2007 on windows 7. However, today when I try to open the program I get a red X message "Cannot open MS Office Outlook. Cannot Open The Outlook Window". A window opens but disappears when the message appears. Any ideas on how to cure this, any help is appreciated.
  2. Problems resolved, however I did find out a few of the windows 7 conflicts along the way!! 1. Tea Timer, the real time spyware app that comes with Spybot S & D stops windows update from working 2. If I want to install a printer, I have to turn off all firewall and anti-virus apps. If you don't, the printer drivers will never install.
  3. Issue 1 Starts to download updates then the process "freezse" (anywhere between 54 and 80% complete). If I stop and restart the download - Nothing, just the moving green bar and the display fixed at 0% downloaded. Issue 2 Shutting the system down takes about an hour, not sure whether its due to the partial downloads from Issue 1. Shut down screen appears normal the starts displaying the "configuring windows" statement . Advice any one?
  4. Sorry this may seem like a very simple question but here goes: I've just bought a new PC that comes with windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit pre-installed (and the user liicense key). Before I get started, I would like to know if I can create a CD/DVD of the OS myself? Or, if not, how can I get a copy of the OS on CD/DVD?
  5. Help. At sometime in the past I have mucked about with my Firefox configuration (probably in an effort to make it faster on my steam powered PC). The end result is that I can't install any new add-ins or even update existing ones. All attempts just generate error messages. I have tried uninstall/and download/reinstall but to no avail Is there any way to reset the configuration to the original defaults?
