  2. i'v tried all of my usb ports... there cant be anything wrong with them as i have a usb mouse and joystick i am busy doing a defrag right now... i remember i had a problem with opening a program then once i done a defragment my computer worked fine
  3. i bought a webcam a few weeks ago and it worked fine until i had to unplug it to move the camera, when i plugged it back in i got this message: http://extremetechsupport.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=195&stc=1&d=1226511573 This webcam is a plug and play camera, it didnt come with any drivers on a disc but i have tried going into the device manager and finding the webcam in my usb devices and uninstalled the drivers... my computer seems to think that there is no drivers to uninstall I have tried plugging the webcam into my friends computer and that works fine, not problems plugging it in first time Is there any solutions out there for this problem? i'v searched all over the net but i'v had no luck Thanks. Edit: when i unplug the camera then reboot my computer i get a message like you do when you first plug a usb device in (a new device has been recognized etc etc.) it comes up has unknown device i am using windows xp sp2
