    my laptop came with no usb or ethernet points just a usb cardbus with 4 usb points and a network adaptor card type. the netcard has been smashed to bits by my 2yo and the usb card has no instal software with it just wondering if any1 knows where i can get the software from please? i may be being thick here but i cant see a manufacturer but it has a black sticker with big purple triangle on, yes i know not too helpful, i've found the card itself on google but cant seem to find instal software for it only websites selling it? does any1 know where i can get the instal software plz? it was just in the lappy bag but hasnt been used, laptop is a dell latitude xps recon. thankyou for reading hoping some1 can help

    they are enabled thats the prob....theyre enabled but ie says theyre not

    hi tried all that even uninstalled and reinstalled ie8 still same it appears that activex has disappeared completely when i go to a website im not even getting the activex popup in info bar asking me to install just kps saying u r running ie without addons. is it possible to delete all addons to get them again or what that cause more probs plz?

    hi im on xp browser was fine yday now its saying it is running without addons altho when i go into manage addons theyre all enabled, any suggestions plz? will b soooo grateful

    Hi after having a lot of probs with pc i was adviced to wipe n re instal xp pro, which i have done but i have lost graphic and audio drivers screen is terribly distorted and its driving me insane as everything is so badly pixelated. i also lost net adaptor but resolved this issue on a m8s pc n now have it, i dont know how to or where to look 4 the graphics and audio drivers as im afraid i really dont know what im doing. i really wish id of left pc alone now as the old hard drive is knackered and have spent 50 quid on a new 1 but im panicing now as im worried i may need a whole new tower plzzzz help me!!

    how can i block them plz as pop up blockers r on bt theyre getting through somewhere n bringing trojans with them ty :confused:

    thanks 4 all help folks ended up taking it back to shop as nothing i tried worked n as its still under warranty i thought i may as well let them c 2 it...turns out dvdrw was knackered failed both the read and write tests so they installed a new 1...JOB DONE!! thanks again all

    nope still doesnt work thanks anyway tho. Am beginning to think its something stupidly simple n maybe it just needs cleaning lol would ur average dvd lens cleaner work possibly?

    my disk drive is a little temperamental bt now when i put a blank dvd or cd in i no longer get the popup asking what i want to do. it was fine the other day now i cant burn anything!!

    is there any way to increase the transfer rate i get whn downloading software as mine is totally pants!! asked bt for help they said try using firefox which i have done bt its not that much of an improvement. my connecton speed is around 6-7mbps but transfer rate is usually around 20 - 30 kbps. ty in advance
