  1. Thanks Tootech. Sorry, the link did work. I tried Crucial without the link. Inputting the system manufacturer and model which for some reason showed innacurate results. Hopefully all sorted now, just about to order the 2X1GB Crucial DDR400. (If the missus lets me!)
  2. Hi. Just wondering what memory to buy now. I have found 2x Crucial 1GB PC3200 DDR400, will this work ok? Tried the Crucial scanner but that is unable to help. Even if I manually input system info it says I only have 2 memory slots, I have 4 and it says dual channel is N.A. but the mother board says it is supported. Please help again.
  3. Thanks for all your help tootech. Much appreciated. Probably start looking for 1 GB sticks.
  4. Thanks for the reply tootech. Just been on the msi website and read about three sticks causing problems. All ram is 2.5V. I have now put the two new Nanya sticks in slot 1 & 3 which is working fine. Just trying to find out more info on the PNY stick but I am thinking this is a single sided stick, which I now feel is the problem. The three Nanya stick I have are double sided. Just about ordering another Nanya, what do you think? I would have 4 sticks the same then. Or do I give up on the 512mb sticks and purchase 2x 1gb sticks as I know I can get these to work side by side? Thanks again. Sorry posted twice. Just getting used to the site
  5. My system originally had 512MB PC3200 DDR400 (Nanya NT512D64S8HC0G-5T) in slot 1. Upgraded about a year or so ago with 512MB PC3200 DDR400 CL3 (PNY 6464TPDXA8G09), which would not show up in slot 2 so moved to slot 3 and worked fine. Upgraded yesterday with 2x 512MB PC3200 DDR400 (Nanya NT512D64S8HC0GY-5T), which I iserted into slot 2 and 4.System would not boot, just hung whith blank screen, fans working and no error beeps. I removed the new ram and inserted in slot 1 and 3 wher the original sticks were and booted no problem, so the new ram is not faulty. I then tried the two new ram sticks in slot 1 & 2 to check slots were working and this booted fine. I tried a third Nanya stick in slot 3 and system would not boot. I thought that the PNY stick was possibly to blame but 3 sticks of Nanya will not work. Do I need to have either 2 or 4 sticks in to work, will 3 not work? Should I buy another Nanya stick to have 4, would this work? My MOBO is (MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (MS-7025)) with AMD 64 3200+. Please, Please help.
