  1. Sounds like a nasty virus. I tried googling isagq and it pointed me to some porn sites. You might have opened something infected. I suggest running a deep anti-virus scan if you can since you mentioned the the laptop is acting crazy. If you can't, you may have to reformat the hard drive.
  2. This has nothing to do with the file deletion problem, but you pointed out an issue with the member profiles. I have one PC at home with Vista Ultimate and another with XP Home, plus a laptop with Vista Business and another with XP Home, plus my office PC which has XP Home. Problems reported on this site may be about any of these Operating Systems.
  3. This was a great reply that worked after weeks of doing all kinds of tweaking and checking at various sites. Going to Safe Mode with Networking showed that HTTP worked again in I.E., and then running MSCONFIG, and tabbing to services, filtering out all Microsoft Services, and unchecking the rest, showed that the culprit appears to have been a problem with AVG Anti-Virus.
