    I have a Tiny PC which had dial up Supanet installed. I have now moved to a SMC wireless system with Virgin Broadband as my internet provider. However, Supanet keeps 'sneaking in' behind my broadband bringing a load of c--p with it. Any ideas how I can resolve this problem?

    Hi Goku, Message is "Windows Security Alert: Your computer may be at risk. Windows Update disabled". Hope this helps.

    Hi Wolfeymole, Have tried updates at MS - laptop goes mad - opening up tab after tab - had to switch laptop off.

    I am getting a message on start up which says that my Windows Update is disabled. When I go into System in Control panel it says that updates are enabled?!! What is my next step and is my security really affected if updates are disabled?
