I am the only person that uses this laptop and I can assure you I do not visit any porn sites. When I googled isagq.exe I didn't find any porn sites, although I never clicked on any of the links as they were all written in a foreign language. I don't download music or videos either. I did have problems with firefox when I upgraded to firefox 3, although pop ups were blocked I would still get them and they used to open another firefox browser. I now use google chrome and the only places I visit are marapets, scotlands people, ancestry .com and google mail. I will delete system restore. thanks

I will take your advice and delete avg from my system and will try another anti virus. thanks

finally installed, updated and completed all tests. All the isagq files have gone, super antispyware didn't find anything but the malwarebytes found and deleted 25 infected objects. Ran Avg scan and then an online scan, they didn't find anything. Have rebooted the laptop several times and so far haven't got any errors and adobe hasn't been running in the background. I'm hoping it stays that way:D Thank you so much for all your help:)

just done a system restore, could only go as far back as the 19/11/08. once system restore was complete and the laptop booted back up I got this error message Catalyst Control Centre Host application has stopped working. A problem stopped the program working correctly. windows will close the program if a solution is available. I also got the choice to debug but it didn't help. The isagq.exe etc are no longer in my files. now going to install and run the programs you advised. will keep you updated. thanks again

sorry I should have said I was running windows vista home premium, will ATF-Cleaner work with vista? I run CCleaner, superantispyware free edition, avg anti virus everyday and i do an online scan once a week using trend micro online scan. I will do a system restore and run all scans again now and let you know the results. Thanks for resonding

isagq.exe sorry not sure if this is the right forum I got an error message saying isagq.exe has stopped working and needs to close. I googled it but found nothing about it. I checked the task manager and found it and when I checked the file location I found this:- isagq.dat 26/11/08 dat file 6kb isagq 23/11/08 application 264kb isagq_nav.dat 21/11/08 dat file 200kb isagq_naps.dat 15/11/08 dat file 1kb since the 23/11/08 my laptop has been going weird, mouse wouldn't work (had to change it to a different usb port to get it to work), screen went to black and white lines, laptop wouldn't shut down, adobe reader opens by itself and runs in the background, only know it has opened when I go to turn off the laptop, sometimes there is 2 or 3 adobe pages opened like this. Hoping someone can help shed some light on this thanks in advance Grace
