not to sure as im not that gd with the insides of computers i have took the side of the comp and it says Asrock ddr2 800 not sure on wht the dvd drive is there is allso t wires going in the back of the dvd drive one is connect to the mb. and the other is just in the back of the dvd drive n thats it. like a orange colour wire EDIT just found that this is my mb asrock k10n78fullhd-hsli

Sorry for the confusion what i meant was on this machine theres f2 for setup which is sayin the boot menu is 1st dvd 2nd harddrive ect.... on f11 is the boot menu which is saying 1st floppy drive 2nd hard drive. So i cant see whats wrong -.- And sorry i did not see in the rules about how you should write..........

Bought a pc without any os on, so bought an vista disc put it in and nothing happens, went i bios from f2 boot went from dvd/cd hd/ floppy/ usb, when i pressed f11 to see boot sequence it just said 1st floppy 2nd hd any1 no why it aint booting? /thanx

i did let it carry on the 1st time but it just come up with a error and had to reinstall everything again. now its runing fbi gui manager. again see wht happens this time. still saying my gdd is 32Gb tho

rite im bk on thr fbi gui manager i found this on the hp web site. Business support forums - Factory recovery discs/FBI Gui Manager recovery failure im not gonna do the iamge bit just stop fbi gui manager dead rename it in program files. and try sorte the hdd out ( so i can finaly use my laptop n play wow) lol

allready tryed that said something like is allready ntfs. but still only 32Gb on it anyway tht fbi gui manager just finished and got somekinda error on it. and have to start allover with the recovery discs again.

hello all. a few things illd like to ask. 1.just got my recovery disc's of hp by post today. been installing it most of the day. im up to this fbi gui manager atm its been runing now around 3 and a half hours to 4 hours. is that normal? 2. ive got some kinda samsung hdd 250Gb but for some reason its only showing its max's size is 32Gb. ive found out on something on the laptop its saying 200Gb allocated? any one no's what this means and how i can get my hdd to full use /Thnx

im trying to format a pc. when i use nero 9 i go to burning ROM then on Dvd(Boot) think it is. drag the os files on it n get this error. the files install WIM is larger then 2Gb and therefore cannot be stored in an ISO file system plz use the udf file system to write such a large files. this can be done by seleting another compilation type. im useing 4.7gb disc so i cnt see y its not large enuff anyway i clickd ok then burnt it anyway when its done i put in pc n it runs abit n i get this come up on screen.
