Just thought I would drop a post to say hi to everyone =]

Hey, I went away on holiday, came back and tried to go on my pc and its all gone to pot! my brother went on it while i was away but he doesnt think he did anything to it first problem is i cant open anything like msn, dvd player and most applications as a window pops up with The Application Failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000022). Click Ok to Terminate the Application) i went into safemode as suggested by a friend and everything works fine there, i ran AVG and it came up wit nothing. Second, I get no sound on youtube or google video at all. I really dont know alot about computers so any help would be greatly appreciated I have a HP running XP Media centre
