    Hi my laptop has just been reinstalled but it keeps getting a blue screen error about hardware I think. I cannot read it as it is too quick. And then it just shuts down. Many thanks Adam

    Hi My PC keeps rebooting when I try to install drivers for any hardware. I have just reinstalled windows xp pro as before it lost system files and since i have had to reinstall my drivers. But i do not think it is when i install drivers i think it is when the processor takes a lot of load. I have tried installing a new service pack and it did it. It just goes to black screen and then reboots as normal. Many Thanks Adam

    Hi, I have got my new pc (it isnt new, i got it given. I have installed DOD hard drive) And i inserted the XP disc in and Chose BIOS to boot from CDROM. I have partitioned it and formatted it to NTFS. It then copies the setup files onto it. It then says that it needs to reboot. So... I let it reboot and then it just starts over again. I have checked almost everything. Please can someone help. I know your all legends so please. MAny thanks in advance. Adam

    I have just got a new hard drive reset to DOD standard. I got this as my old one was not working it just did not do anything. It was just making a constant beeping sound. I have fixed the new one in and I have set the jumper but it is still making a beeping sound all the time. I have a MS DOS startup disc and also I have a Microsoft XP disc to install. A. What does the beeping sound mean? B. How do I use the MS DOS disc? C. How do I install the XP disc?

    There is nothing wrong with them discs. Its just when I use the recovery service. It does'nt fix anything. And when you said that I havent followed your advice... I have and it hasnt worked. I have read all of the Acer Manual you told me to read. It just does'nt fix it. After I have tryed what you have been telling me I have been doing other things. Thanks Adam

    No.... Backup discs and restoration disc are a complete different thing. I have 3 restoration.... and I have 1 backup disc. They are different.

    fresh start Right, The pc came pre-installed with FAT32. I have : a windows xp disc (that i already owned), i also own 1 backup disc that i had to make when i first got the pc. And i own 3 recovery discs and 1 system disc. Now the problem is that i can turn the pc on, and it loads windows. i then get to the desktop, but no task bar at the bottom, it just has the basic acer background.     Right........ My dad thinks that my harddrive is broken. Because it is finding all different system file errors. I think that it is broken aswell. But I have a external hard drive and are trying to install xp on there and run my laptop off that. I am going to partition the external hard drive. And then install XP onto the hardrive. And run the laptop off that. Thanks Adam

    Right that problem is kinda solved. But........ I have got the pc to half startup, when i get to the Windows XP setup (Were you enter your information eg. Computer Name, Time, Network Settings and whatever else) I enter my name and then it crashes when I press "Next" or "Skip". It says "The system has not been fully installed, Please reinstall the system." Now I have doen that and nothing has changed. This ain't good, is it? Thanks Adam

    It isnt the router because I have 3 more pc's running on it. It is the Vista PC. Because all cthe XP work fine The routrer is as above.
