Seem to be missing my last post! I managed to eliminate the dreaded Kiwee by searching hidden files in 'Advanced search' and repeatedly deleting the ten or eleven entries that were found. The repeats were because of some internal links that meant refusal to trash until the core program was found and deleted. I had deleted the beast through the Control Panel 'Delete Programs' facility but obviously that didn't work. Hope this helps. P.S. I can recommend Avira, Used it for a few years now.

:DHi! Just joined, maybe as most of you, because I was in trouble. I'm an oldie with over 40 years experience of all things 'lectric, including computers, though they have moved on a bit since my time;) I've fixed my problem through a hint inadvertently given in one thread, so I can highly recommend the site.:p

I sympathise. I have the same infection and the above steps have failed! I get to step 5 when the computer shuts down then restarts with the same "Null" pop-up! Anyone-else with ideas?
