  1. I have no USB devices attached and did indeed uninstall iTunes - still no luck.
  2. Greetings, I have a hp pavilion dv6607 laptop running Vista Home Premium. Recently the disk drive DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA quit functioning correctly. It still accepts media and spins, but no data is ever recognized. I noticed a member with a similar problem with that same disk drive. (Thread located here) In device manager my drive shows up with a yellow exclamation point, and in the properties the message is This device cannot start. (Code 10). I believe it quit working sometime after I installed iTunes 8, though I did install Vista SP1 shortly after iTunes. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, I did not have any restore points prior to the install of SP1, so I could not go back to before the iTunes install. I have tried updating the drive, reloading the driver, and I have even tried the "fix cd drive .reg" you provided - to no avail:(. I have been fooling around with this for a couple of weeks - I sure would appreciate some help. Thanks,
