Use W7 and bought Kstar UPS for my computer which runs Power Manager Lite 3.30 to monitor power and shut down my computer in the event of power failure. This has been working faultlessly for months through several security updates from Microsoft. After this weeks updates the Power Manager Lite software indicated that it was not operating when I try to open the software it gives an error message that the service cannot be started and the program will be closed. As I needed to be operational I restored to before the Windows updates and continued to work with everything operating as before. Have hidden the Windows Updates however will have to install these updates at some stage. Due to consistent power interruptions in my area it is critical that Power Manager Lite is operational. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you enlighten me what IE9 stops you from doing as I find it sensational and so easy to use. If you want to uninstall, go to installed updates and uninstall. I have Win7 but if you go to Start and type "Installed Updates"select that, highlight Internet Explorer 9 and select uninstall you will have it done. Dont get me wrong I loved IE8 but find 9 such an improvement also so so fast and simple. Regards Ken.
