I have an ACER ASPIRE 5535 laptop computer running Windows 7 home premium. I just recently formatted my "C:" drive and did a clean install of Windows 7. Everything went fine and all of the Updates downloaded and installed without a problem. The monitor on my computer is 15.5 inch LCD HD monitor. I also have it hooked up via the VGA cord to my 32 inch LCD TV. The TV is just great but my monitor seems to be giving me a problem. It is only set up as a square screen so I have two black bands on either side ( not top and bottom ) of my monitor. I must have done something wrong. The monitor used to be full screen but it is not now. How can I get my full screen back? Thanks for any assistance you can give me. I am a retired Canadian currently living in Chiang Mai Thailand and other than hot it is great.
