Hi hope this is posted in the correct Forum. I would like to set my Tv up with my PC so that i can watch"catch up" Tv...ie BBC i player on my TV instead of having to use my Monitor. On the TV there IS a port for an HDMI Cable and an already allocated/tuned Channel for this.Would it JUST be a case of "Plug n Play" or am i hoping for too much? Chris

A BT Engineer came out to see if there was a problem with the Line....there was...hence the problem. All is ok now although BT in their wisdom see fit to attempt to charge her £207 for the repair of THEIR line....aha Mr Solicitor seems to be the obvious choice.Oh how I HATE BT ...with a vengeance.Many thanks to Wolfeymole and Plastic Nev for their help...keep up the good work !!!

She is Hard Wired

Firstly i hope i have posted this in the correct Forum. K my Daughter is running Windows XP and using Internet Explorer as her Browser and uses Google as her main Search Engine.Up until very recently she has had no problems.Now for some reason when she is Browsing and looking at Web Pages her Internet Connection goes down without any real explanation.All she knows is that when it goes down she gets a distinctive "Click" and then it shuts down. Any ideas why this is happening? She uses BT as her Internet Provider.I have taken a quick look through her settings and everything seems ok there.Help!! This only happens when she is connected to the Net and all is fine when she is just using her PC. Chris

First of all im sorry if this is a re post... I am looking to store several hundred,maybe eventually more Photographs online.I have them on Disc but would like to store them online as a Secondary back up so to speak.Does anyone know where i can store them free of charge?...the site MUST be secure as there will be Pics of my Family, Late Parents and Grandparents.. many thanks Chris

Personally i would stay with Vista Ultimate for a while yet.If it suits your needs then why change it? I have been using Vista Home Premium for about a year now and so far so good NO problems.Up until i got this new Pc i was actually running Windows 98se...it did what i wanted it to do and could see no real reason for change.....keep the faith!!!

Wolfeymole............uninstalled it and cleared everything up with C Cleaner.....was a fair few "hangy on bits".Re installed it and all is fine now..many thanks for the help Chris

Hi i have a bit of a problem.Last time i tried to sogn into Live Messenger the following came up: C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsLive\Messenger\MSIMG32.dll is either not desigend to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the origional installation media or contact your System administrator or the software vendor for support. Help!!! Chris

Hi i have a question regarding my Daughters Broadband speed.She has an old PC that is running Windows XP SP2 Home Edition,all ok there.The problem is when she connects to her Broadband the speed just isnt up to much.She has 512 mmb R.A.M and the Processor is AMD K6 400Mhz.I am thinking that an uprgrade of both Processor and R.A.M would do the trick. Any thoughts on this? thanks Chris

Hi can anyone please help me? I am running Windows Vista,no problem with it,my question is i would like to revert back to the Old Style Hotmail.Im not really into Social Networking but Live Mail is all bloody this ones doing this that ones doing that...not my Cup of Tea to be honest.If i wanted that id go join Facebook etc...can anyone help me as to going back so to speak? HEEELP! This is bordering on the unbelievable now.More problems,when the PC is switched on it seems to try and Boot but all the screen shows is a "Floating" red box with No Video Input inside it.... tell me gentlemen is it now Hammer time or any ideas? p.s the F2 and F8 buttons do nothing!
