1. still can't find a solution
2. hi again, got up this morning and its still not booting first time, yesterday was probably just a coincidence, any more ideas?
3. hi again guys, I think i must of reseated the motherboard and it has booted first time after shutting it down properly - when ever i shut it down properly it would have to be booted twice as I described, I checked the bios thing to do with the voltages they all look pretty close to the required voltage, i will give you them exactly if you want when i next have to turn on my computer (hopefully not to soon). I think the problem to do with the fans is to do with a faulty fan controller the light on it turns on but i don't think its supplying any power to the fans. I don't understand much about cables by the way so i didn't know what pictures to take so here's a couple - sorry if the pictures a too big that's the motherboard and fan controller, i know its a mess and very dusty, I cable tied it all up afterwards. If you need any specific pictures just tell me. thanks for being so helpfully guys
4. PSU was faulty i have 4 fans including CPU fan and a nexus fan controller - only the fans on the motherboard work they don't work on the fan controller so at the moment i have the CPU fan on and the case fan, the hard drive fan is not working and an internal fan i have put in also does not work. i haven't cleaned it out yet but i will, when i boot it the first time it gets to the point where windows is loading and there's a bar on the screen and that's the point where it freezes the bar just stops. no i have not tried to reseat them I'll have to see how to do that, does that mean taking the connectors to the board out then putting them back in? good thing you asked it crash i few minutes ago actually i think its normally after 1.30- 2 hours maybe. hope you have some ideas after this post. Also its a home build
5. hi guys, I recently had to get a new power supply after my PC wouldn't turn on. The power supply was the same watt as my old one which was 600watts, after the swap I've had to boot my PC twice to turn it on- I'd turn it on and window would not load - turn off the power then boot it again. also after a certain amount of time the PC crashes and the screen goes blank. Can anyone help me with this? p.s also 2 of my fans are not working.
6. hi, I'm Emmanuel i have built my own computer with help of an I.T friend, that's where the problems start so I'm happy to have found this site!
