I would strongly recomend anyone looking for an anti virus(or anything p.c. related) to visit the computer magazine "Computeractive",s website. I use AVG,s free edition, which runs a automatic scan when first online every day, and its consantly updated. There are a few others on their site,as well as loads of other stuff. Pay them a visit, its FREE.

I have a BT. voyager 2500v router,which i purchased from my previous provider. I am now with pipex, and, the router cannot give my son wireless access to the web throuth my pc using this router as it is locked to BT, however, i know that these routers can be unlocked, and wondered if anyone on this website could provide information (or any unlock codes) as to how to go about this. As well as being gratefull for any assistance anyone can give i would be willing to pay for the info. I know other modem/routers can be purchased, but i am reluctant to pay what i consider are vastly inflated prices for what the retailers get for a mere fraction of the cost they charge the public, compared to the ones they pay to import the things.

Firstly, i am definitely not computer literate, (yet?). I have been on broadband for quite some time now,firsly with B.T. and then opted for Pipex when my contract ended which i am really happy with. However, Pipex dont have/do a wireless router yet and when i tried to conect my son,s pc to the web through mine using my old B.T 2500v router,i found it cant be done as the router is locked to B.T. Can anyone recommend a wireless router that will DEFINITELY do job remembering that i am on Pipex broadband. ( there seem to be that many different types on the market that i am afraid of ending up making the wrong choice/purchase). I would greatly appreciate any assistance whatsoever.
