Make sure your logged in as administrator and have full permissions to copy....have you tried rebooting your pc and re-connecting the card? or even trying on another user's account?

If your having local connection issues you could try logging on/off or restarting your machine to refresh any broken connections or if its network based try rebooting the router etc

I believe Internet explorer 7 comes with vista as default wouldn't a system repair fill in any damaged files? i don't think there is anyway to fully roll back ie7 although you could always try downloading a different version and seeing if that works?

I have the same ram, i believe its OCZ high performance gold series? i got ddr2 pc 6400 i can't say i have noticed any specific problems with mine the chances are the memory modules have been damaged in transition or faulty....

If you tried a system restore and that didn't seem to do the job you could have some corrupt windows files, have you tried repairing windows?

Would explorer.exe have any part in this? i usually find that is the cause when the taskbar disappears and then reappears eventually...

Are those swiftkit.exes really needed? i used to play Runescape absolutly fine in ie 7?

Chances are that game requires most of your cpu as your gpu can't seem to provide or balance enough power to run it smoothly, does it do this on all web based games?
