  1. I'm sure some people would guess that 1 lol. I originally put AT i believe which i know is probably wrong now. It still doesn't change the fact it's an odd question though.
  2. Thanks for the replies, Wolfy. I do agree with you in Q2 though it is a very odd question. I'd appreicate any more thoughts on Q2 in particularly.
  3. Hi guys, Thanks for the replies again to my previous qustion but i have a few more. 1) A user has purchased a Cable modem and Router for his PC but which should each be turned on? a) Modem, Router PC b) Router PC Modem c) Modem PC Router d) PC Modem Router 2) Which type of Power supply has 1 socket and 1 power plug? a) AT b) ATX c) UPS d) Heat Sink 3) You are using alcohol to clean a trackball mouse. 4. Great Point BeeCeeBee. Thanks for the reply.
  5. My question is why on earth a certified company such as CompTia A+ put this sort of question to do with printers in an exam when it has been proven with the number of forums ive posted this question don't have a clue what i'm talking about until of course i posted the solution?? This obviously isn't something Compter Administrators actually do in the procedure of trying to setup a network so why do CompTia expect us to know exactly how to do this?
  6. I think i may have found the answer. Printers & Faxes > Properties > Advanced > set time "Available From" Cheers guys for all your help.
  7. I can't tell you the exact question as i don't have it as its like i said it was in an exam i took recently.
  8. The problem is i know you can do it through Printers & Faxes. This question was on a certified 2007 A+ exam but obviously exams dont tell you answers. Is there anybody that can help me with this problem?
  9. Yeah thats right is there anyway to do it through Printer & Faxes Icon?
  10. Hi guys, I was wondering whether you could help in identifying what is the clock speed of this memory module. Websites like wikipedia say 200Mhz DDR2 SDRAM - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia However, when you check on shops its say their clock speed is 400Mhz like here: ByteStor 512MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Desktops: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo So at what clock speed does it run at. I realise I understand i need PC3200 i just dont know what the clock speed is. Cheers, Darren
  11. Maybe i should rephrase the 2nd question "Is there a way in Windows XP to set a period of time that the user is allowed to print meaning set a period during the day?" Cheers.
  12. Hi guys, 2 questions Q1: I recently had a A+ exam question in which i'm not sure whether i got the answer correct and was wondering whether you guys could help. The question went along the lines of "You have Windows 2000 Computer with SP2 installed. You would like to install SP4. Which of the following options is the correct Upgrade Path. Now i can't remember all 4 options but 2 of the answers were Install SP3 first then SP4 or Install SP4 as SP3 is included. I answered the latter which i believe is correct. Could you please clarify this for me? Q2: I'm a Computer administrator but fairly new to the industry. I was wondering whether there was a way in Windows Xp through Printer & Faxes to set the user only a specified amount of time to print? Cheers, Darren
