  1. can you tell me the model of the pc. and what mem you have purchased
  2. check to see is your old memory is compatble with your new motherboard
  3. you can user usb2 devices on usb1 ports with no problems. you can get wirless adapters for printers
  4. it looks like you are pluging it into a usb1 port these devices use usb2 they will function correctley usb2 is just has a higher data transfer rate Hope this helps you may also have usb2 ports on your pc as well try plugging it into differant ports

  7. as long as you get an atx psu you should be ok. E machines are generic pcs so i see no problem in replace the psu
