  1. ah ok that makes sense:) how can i find out which graphics cards will fit inside my pc or not, as ive been told the Sapphire HD 4850 is too big for my case
  2. Sorry if this is in the wrong section:o If someone could advise it would be much appreciated. I currently have a HP Pavilion slimline (s3040 i think...) I want to be able to watch movies, play games etc and currently at the mo theres slight lag on some movies and i have to downgrade graphics on games eg red alert 3 Im looking into getting a new graphics card as i just have the standard which is a Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE i think. I've been looking at Sapphire HD 4850, but in all honesty i don't know much at all about graphics cards so any help advise would be great :) Thanks
  3. the highest one is svchost.exe at around 56,000 theres plenty more svchost's too but with much less usage
  4. Im on a ADSL connection, but cant see anywhere to check the incoming/outcoming data. I used to have netmeter and i think this monitored the incoming and outcoming data? My anti virus is AVG :)
  5. sorry il type them out :) csrss.exe Maxtor status icon Winlog.exe dwm.exe lxddmon.exe lxddamon.exe DAP.exe RtHDVCpl.exe hkcmd.exe igfxsrvc.exe issch.exe jusched.exe ehmsas.exe ehtray.exe OSD.exe igfxpers.exe taskend.exe MSASCui.exe explorer.exe taskmgr.exe Wireless manager.exe Also now the PC takes much longer to start-up to the screen where i log on, and the fan sounds like its laboring when the PC's at 100%. Nev: is there somewhere i can look to see the traffic coming in and out? is that the packets coming in and out? :)

  8. have a look on the back of your router for a small reset button :)
  9. For the last few days now my PC randomly goes up to 100%, il close all the programs and still it stays at 100%. The toolbar at the bottom starts disappearing and reappearing and im unable to do anything. I took some screenshots of the different tabs on task manager to see if anyone can see a reason why its doing this. thanks :) http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c183/KTSKING/taskmanager.jpg
