hi can any one help trying to view a uni website the page loaded okay but the image had a red warning icon inside a box. followed help from windows.eg checking different boxes,clicked on the image and it came up with stuff about java. it also said application failed to run what does this mean and can it be fixed. any help would be brill .ps novice at computers .my system is xp thanks:confused:

more info on beeping hi the beeping is defo coming from inside the case,it starts after the computer is on for a few minutes,its a succession of beeps sounds very much like a heart monitor,my girls think the fan is overheating but its going round okay, dont know any thing about motherboards,sorry:)

hi a bit of a novice here had to shut down my big computer using the daughters laptop. my problem srarted yesterday, constant beeping from the computer.it is an older one all i knoe that its wnidows xp pro. it has a athlon processer.not a lot to go on i know. woud like to learn more.any help idiot proof of course, would be great,thanks:)
