negatives

hey hey =] I dunno if I'm allowed to post here or not, haha xD;; But uh check the other threads for help, because there's a lot of the same problem. For the internet, check this post. In addition, make sure the proxy server box in the LAN settings are unchecked ^^;

I found the source of the problem~ In the LAN settings, I accidentally used the proxy server o.O; I unchecked that box and everything works now~ Thank you for all your help =]

Thanks for your responses =]! I tried all the methods (including the ones mentioned in the other two threads), but they don't seem to work. However, I am able to access the internet via firefox. I want to get rid of the problem though =[ are there any other methods?

uh I have the same problem~ I'm unable to connect to the internet, and the same pop-up reporting a dll32 error pops up whenever I start my computer. I tried the run sfc /scannow thing, but my problem remains :( I have A windows disk, but it isn't the one that I used to install the computer I have now (it's home edition whereas I'm on xp pro)...I dunno if that's the problem. Ah, thanks.
