  1. I have a Dell Optiplex GX280, a week ago i downloaded and installed IE8 with security updates, when i restarted my pc after the installation i got a error message saying 'For your computer protection we have blocked your Registry Console Tool. I noticed that most of my services in services.msc had stopped and either gave me a error message saying: 'Could not start the ***** service on local computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start' or: Windows could not start the **** on Local Computer. For more information, review the Sytem Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor and refer to service-specific error code 2250. When i go to system event log, it doesn't show anything and both errors and Microsoft services. Also under network adapters in device manager i get warning signs next to all of these: untitled.jpg picture by MoeAFG - Photobucket I can uninstall and re-install the Broadcom drivers but the rest are needed to 'boot up the system'. I cannot update them since i have no internet connection on the pc. I'm on Microsoft Professional SP3 Anyone know what i can do?
