Hi, I hav an Amilo Pa 2548. After having to install a new vista os I now find that I now have no internet excess or web cam. I have tried downloading help via my desktop onto disc but I then find that my Amilo does not open .dll files. If anyone can help I would be eternally grateful. I have tried contacting fujitsu but have had no luck. Jill

I am wondering if it would not be better just to try and get hold of the factory recovery disc's as After many attempts on purchase I was unable to make my own following manuel instructions. Have tried to get in touch with fujitsu but no joy as yet.

Going to computer shop now. Do I have to buy windows xp or can I buy vista

Nope. Its one I found in my desk. It's a copy my brother made along with a reg code.

Have a windows xp disc and when I load it it goes so far and then I get error message Stop: oxoooooo8E [0XOOOOOO5,OXF741BC83,OXF6FE5800,OXOOOOOOOO] setupdd.sys-Address F741BC83 base at F73F2000 JILL

Entered bios. Hard disc is ist choice.still no operating system found

Amilo Pa 2458 Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase factory recovery cds for the above laptop? No operating system found on machine so I was hoping recovery cds would help:eek:

operating system not found Hi, When I switch system on it immediatly says no operating system found.

Have an Amilo pa 2585 and after kids and mates had messed around with it I have switched it on only to b told on screen that no operating system was found! Needless to say the kids said they did nothing and has the laptop was only bought in november I am having a breakdown.
