For Boot Manager Issue:
1. Insert the Windows Vista disk and Shut down the computer.
2. Start the computer again and on DELL LOGO tap F12 four times and you will get boot menu.
3. Highlight CD/DVD option and press Enter when you get the message “Press any key to boot form DVD” press “ENTER” key immediately.
4. It will start loading files and you will get Language options please change the Language to English and Keyboard layout for your country and click next.
5. On the next Screen click on “Repair Your Computer” on lower left corner.
6. It will list the Operating system please click on that and click next.
7. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt
8. Type bootrec /rebuildbcd and then press ENTER
• If Bootrec runs successfully, it will present you with the installation path of a Windows directory. To add the entry to the BCD store, type Yes. A confirmation message appears that indicates the entry was added successfully.
• If Bootrec cannot locate any missing Windows installations, you must remove the BCD store, and then you must re-create it. To do this, type the following commands in the order shown below: (Remember to press ENTER after each command)
bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup
ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
bootrec /rebuildbcd
-Restart the computer.
