  1. I have managed to remove IE8 and are not back running on 7 however it does not appear to have cured the problem. When I open IE it is offline and stills trys to connect using the WAN Miniport with the same error code 815. Same also with Outlook Express. Any further advice?
  2. oh forgot!! Also, I cannot access the internet through Explorer. Its says its offline but when I try to online it just does the same as email - WAN Miniport etc.....
  3. Although mainly use Firefox, today I upgraded my Internet Explorer (to work better with Ebay) to Version 8. Everything was A-OK until then. Now I can still use the internet fine but cannot send or receive emails. Outlook Express is trying to connect through WAN Miniport and then it comes back with Error:815. This says that the remote server is not responding and to contact ISP to get a value for the "Service field". I have spoken to my ISP provider and apart from being on the phone for 2 hours they were absolutely no help at all. They say that my Outlook is corrupted and I need to get a PC company out to have a look at it! All all worked fine before this upgrade. Please help - I know very very little so need basic guidelines!! Praying!
  4. FIXED!!!! HOORAH!!! Hi, Thanks for your advice. I have just downloaded firefox and tried to log in and it worked - result!! Could anyone just tell the difference (basic) between this and Microsoft IE and which is best to use??:)
  5. CHECKED BROWER SETTINGS Hi, Have been into Tools/ Internet Options and checked the privacy and security settings. Have also cleared browsing historues, cookies and temp internet folders - still no joy!! I have used this webmail for around 6/7 years an average of once an hour with no problem. I have not done anything to my computer and are very confused!!
  6. Hi again, Excuse my basic knowledge?? I am using Internet Explorer - how do I check my browser settings. Regards:confused:
  7. Hi, I am having problems accessing my Orange webmail account for the last 10 days (been using for years no problem). Outlook Express working fine but I access my junk mail through Orange webmail. Around 10 days ago, the Orange site just keeps returning me to sign in page. Benn on to Orange tech several times and they have got me to do various things: clear temp internet filders, browsing history reset cookies/privacy line, check the clock on computer etc etc. Still I cant access it from my computer. They have told me it needs to be looked at but they do not know what is happening. Yesterday, I went to my mother-in-laws and tried it from her system (XP) and I was able to access it fine. I can only assume that my system is blocking my somehow?? I do know that Orange did somekind of website update around the time that I lost my access as the page setup completely changed. I have also tried turning my firewall off, running various Spyware, AVG scans but still to no avail. Can anyone help me as I if I send an email if you reply direct back this always get routed to the Junk mail folder. It's a real pain not being able to access it and Orange as about as useful as a chocolate teapot!! Yours in prayed hopefulness
