i am new to trouble shooting here is what is happening example i go to email and try to pull up ad bigger and it goes to microsoft read me only file i try to go in and see how my photo show program works and it goes to microsoft read me only file when it it goes to microsoft it says to click alt and the topic up and then i do that and it pops up contact adminstrator what is wrong:eek:

my father is 83 years old and cannot afford the internet i gave him a old computer that only has cd rom no dvd and we can' find any games. is there a site i could go to and down load on his computer that he can play games off line he likes cards games all i am finding is downloading them and then you have to go online to play

I just bought a used Gateway Lap Top and can't get passed the opening screen i do not have the prior owners password and they moved. Does anyone know how i can change it or get into my name or am i screwed:mad::confused:

i have a linksys wired router hooked to 2 desktops and works fine i have added a wireless wrt54 linksy i have ran a cable from 1 port that is working to the internet port of my wireless (I do not want to do away with my wired router) it says i am connected to my laptop and keeps saying can't comminucate with Home - Road Runner i have no problem if i go connect to and connect to my neigbors wireless but i sure would like to use my own

i can go right to my neibor's router and connect and that is how i am suing this forum

I just got a wireless router. I am connected to it and getting all 4 towers lit up but i cannot connect to internet please make it simple i am new at this
