Most everything works fine in safe mode other than cd burner and antivirus and spyware will not load keeps reading "SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR HAS SET POLICIES TO PREVENT THIS INSTALLATION". thanks, Also cannot restore system keeps erroring that it cannot restore back to settings.

no, just a black screen that read type password hit enter. but I cant type anything in. Was working in safe mode only , keep rebooting only went in safe mode. Did search, post read put disk boot first put in dell diagnostic disk, has not worked since. I beleive it read no usb in boot sequence. I think I encountered a virus that started it all, because I could not use spyware or virus detector keeped telling me adminstrator not excepting loading of program but I was logged in as administrator. Hello need help, I beleive I have a virus of some kind. booting this system have failed at checkpoint [ithr]. I have tried everything mentioned and still having problems. I put boot with cd first in f2 to try to run dell diagnostic. start windows , hit f2 or f12, ask for password but it will not let me type password . Can use f keys and ctrl, alt del. and thats it. might have lost usb. How do I get this back? Thanks dell e310 xp :confused:
