Tiscali Broadband is my default and it always dials the default connection .The settings are set to automatically detect settings.

ok have done that, and the modem connects via USB.

windows XP Pro IE 8 and i'm connecting through a modem. Ok i've downloaded and run ccleaner and my pc still does the same?

i connect to tiscali broadband and my homepage loads up fine ,but after about thirty seconds if i try to load another webpage it comes back and states that it unable to. I have checked all the internet settings and they are fine. pls help as this has been going on for nearly two weeks!
