Tootech checked BIOS all warnings were disabled have now enabled: System temp warning for: 90 Deg C CPU warning temp: 80 Deg C Does not appear to be a shutdown trip level set in BIOS but would imagine this is factory set...... Have left side panel off tower and will monitor temps. Is there some kind of cooler that I can retro fit? When I had rebooted to get into BIOS system and CPU temps only 42 Deg C
  2. Tootech many thanks for reply Yes only when playing games. This does look like an overheat problem, took side off played game for last 50 mins to powerdown. Will check out shutdown trip setting on CPU overheat in BIOS Have an exhaust fan on tower. Again many thanks will let you know how I get on
  3. PC crashes after about 10 - 20 mins when playing high spec games such as Far Cry 2, Empire Total War etc, no issues on low spec games such as Rome or Far cry. All power switches off with no error code or warnings. Able to re-boot and restart for about same time and then crashes I have changed power supply to 750w was 400w Changed grahics card to Geforce 9600GT Display Memory: 512.0 MB System still crashes Current system is: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. System Model: GA-MA69GM-S2H BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.9GHz Memory: 2046MB RAM Any ideas?:confused:
