hi guys hope someone can help, i have just upgraded from xp to vista. thing is all is working well apart from when on net now i get the screen moving in blocks. tried to install disc that came with M/B but is only working up to xp tried update driver in device manager but tells me i have the latest. my pc is msi M/B unsure which model & philips 19in lcd monitor any help would be great thanks

hi all on my computer properties i have noticed the physical address extension what does this mean ? only reason i am asking is i have not noticed this on other comps

hi all i have a msi k9mm-v mobo was just wondering i only have 512 memory installed but i have been given a 256 ddr stick. could i use this with this mobo. it fits ok but is a bigger stick also it has 2 sets of clamp grooves and this clamps on the lower set

hi all think i have to apologise to you all i know i should have tried earlier but i have a usb extension lead because all my usb ports are at back of comp. dont know why just before i thought i will try directly into port and straight away worked so obviously just extension wire has been my problem all the time. feel like a bit of a dope been trying for a week to sort this and all it has been is a wire. but hey thank you all for help received think i will just go and shoot myself now cheers all

yeh have done that been on device manager and updated drivers all way down i have disc also that came with motherboard with chipset drivers still no usb

hi all is there a way to speed up my pc. it runs ok but would like to know how or if i can make it quicker. i have msi k9mm-v mobo amd sempron 3400+ i went into bios other day it says min 200mhz max 232mhz i tried to put it on 232 but it would not boot, is there anything else i need to know on how to do this ?

hi all i have the usb problem last week formatted comp updated all drivers all ok. then a couple days ago son asked to put some songs on his mp3, when i plugged it in i got the bubble device not recognized your hardware might not be working properly. so tried a couple times same message then i got a bubble saying it would be better to have usb 2.0 high speed, wich i have. since then when i plug a device in nothing happens comp does nothing. i have tried in device mngr to delete all usb then reboot, this happens fine comp recognises they are there loads them all up and bubble your hardware is installed and working properly. but i still have nothing when i plug in device. no yellow exclamation mark, if i go into usb properties i have unchecked let comp turn off device, i have treid to update all drivers for usb get the prompt cannot continue windows cannot find a better driver. i have tried a couple devices and still nothing any help my comp is msi k9mm-v amd sempron 3400+ xp pro sp2
