I have tried tapping the Del key on startup too and nothing and same goes with tapping F12 key, nothing. You know when you start a computer it beeps, well there are no beeps on startup

Sorry, i should have said things clearer, I have tried tapping F8 , still nothing

Its a desktop pc

partner switched on and i pressed F8 continuously before startup screen appeared

Ok, have done as advised but nothing is happening after continuous pressing of F8 key

No messages and all that it says on the screen is "Acer" Del: Enter Setup and F12:Boot Menu. What I have noticed is that there are no beeps on startup?

When I turn on the pc it wont go past the start up screen, I am at a loss :confused:. Can anyone explain how to remedy this. Thanks Joy
